Ryne Weir
Ryne Weir started playing guitar in a high school guitar ensemble and fell in love with the instrument immediately. He would continue to study and perform in many bands and ensembles around Las Vegas, finally deciding to pursue a degree in music education. Ryne holds an Associates of Music from the College of Southern Nevada, and a Bachelors of Music, Concentration in Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He has played and written music for several jazz bands, classical ensembles, musical theatre productions and rock groups around the city.
Ryne has been teaching music in Las Vegas since 2013. He believes that a firm understanding and well rounded education in music will allow musicians to play and create any kind of music they imagine. Ryne also believes that learning music should be fun, creative, silly, and, most of all, rewarding.
Ryne Weir currently works at Jesse D. Scott Elementary as the music specialist.
