Kristina Tullgren, is a soprano and is currently pursuing her Masters in Vocal Performance. Kristina completed her Bachelor of Music at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she performed the roles of Juno in Orpheus in the Underworld, Rose in Jake Heggie’s At the Statue of Venus, and as Cover for Madame Lidoine in Dialogues of the Carmelites. Her most recent performances include the soprano solo in Mozart’s Vesperae solennes de confessore in Atlanta, GA and as Marcellina in Georgia State University’s SU Opera Theater’s production of Le Nozze di Figaro.
In addition to performing, Kristina is also engaged behind the scenes as a stage manager for University of Nevada, Las Vegas Opera Theater and Opera Las Vegas productions. She is currently working on her masters recital, which will include works by Alberto Nepumuceno, Cecile Cheminade, and Strauss.
Kristina draws from her vast experience both as an artist and a technician when teaching students, Her experience not only helps her students to become great musicians but also talented performers. She believes with the right instruction anyone can succeed in music. She is excited to inspire students and help them to thrive.Â
